Restraining Order Assistance

Navigating the court system can be overwhelming and scary for someone who may still be in crisis. Our legal advocates are available every day, and can make the process less stressful by offering support and guidance in obtaining restraining orders.

Legal Consultation & Representation

The process of leaving an abusive relationship can be complicated, especially when the couple has been together for many years or there are children involved. We have skilled attorneys on staff who can answer questions about divorce, child support and visitation issues. In addition, our Attorney Referral Panel has been trained in the dynamics of domestic violence, and may be available for representation on a sliding scale fee basis. Call to see if you are eligible.

Rapid Response Teams

We have found that a collaborative response to a domestic violence incident produces a more positive result for the victim. The Rapid Response Team complements the work of several police departments in the area while offering immediate support to victims at the police station as well as assistance with emergency restraining orders.
